It Has been 12 years since I stopped carving do to sickness but i have been carving again and doing some retail shows close to home. It is going well, I am mostly carving my old wholesale line but i have made a few originals they sell first and it seems fast. i will post a couple of pictures but RobertMacinnisdecoys on instagram has a lot of picture click here or the website click here I built a shop at my home for the retail work but I  am restoring my bear island building and some 1915 equipment for restarting wholesale this fall. pictures below and link to blog Click here

Getting Started

well after 4 years of sickness I am finally going to restart my business. I tried a couple of times before but sickness stopped me, this time I hope to just push through. I miss it, it will be my medicine. Some picture tomorrow.
There is so much to do to relearn. I have no idea how if there is a market now, and I have a lot of set backs and burnt bridges to mend. I will design a shop . develope a market plan and find my demographic. ..... HELP :)
